I've come to a point in my current career (not photography) where its really hard to get up in the morning and face the daily grind. I've spent 17 years within the Law Enforcement arena.
As most of my everyday bff's know, I'm on the serious track of marketing myself more and more. I've been working on creating my home studio, studying for my Professional Photographers Certification and simply bettering my life and peace of mind.
I was reading some literature from the PPA when I came across an article that said on average it takes about 2 years to get your business off the ground. I'm feeling pretty good with that. Sounds like a great goal to me!
